A quick Google search of any destination will pull up stories, reviews, and suggestions on how to travel. With so many perspectives out there, the chances of you replicating someone else’s travels are slim. This means that as much as you research, plan, and ask for advice, in the end it is up to you to experience the world for yourself. Understandably, that can be a pretty scary and confusing.

So let’s rethink the concept of travel.

Figuring out how to travel isn’t concrete and constant like math. In fact it’s more like a science. Exploring the world around you means gathering data, experimenting with different tactics, and making educated guesses. You end up with “theories” and “laws” that can then be applied toward future trips. I am here to show you the “theories” and “laws” I have come up with over the years, and help you cultivate an analytical approach to travel.

In the end, I want to help make you as passionate about planning your trip as you are about dreaming about it.

Oh, I guess I should introduce myself

About Victoria
About Me Mobile

I’m a 23 year old that has a fascination with the art of travel. My creative right side of my brain wants to brainstorm new ways of discovering the world. My logical left side of my brain wants to reduce the concept of travel to simple equations. Consequently, I end up with my style of travel: detailed planning with a heavy dose of risks.

I was raised by a pilot, so growing up meant a lot of planning, checklists, and making sure that all my ducks were in a row. That way, I would be prepared for whatever was thrown my way. I found that for those moments I have been lucky, I can boil it down to that I was prepared and had an opportunity.

Travel isn’t all detailed planning though, it is also about living life! Being flexible with plans is important to me, because its those impromptu decisions that lead to amazing memories. Spontaneity is so important, that my logical side of my brain wants to pencil it in to every trip!

I want to be real with you, so here it is: I am not a glamorous, trendy, or #goals type person. The information shared on this site is coming from a jeans-and-t-shirt type gal that will go out of her way to try weird food or take goofy pictures with statues. If you are down with that, then I welcome you to The Adventure Analyst.
